Experienced English Teacher

Qualified English Teacher We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join an amazing teaching team in Carshalton. The ideal candidate will have a PGCE or QTS qualification and proven experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and well-being of all students. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
