We are looking for two individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and proactive in their work to become personal assistants to support a physically disabled woman in her forties at home and in the community. You’ll work from a family home in the Yarm area.
21 hours a week over 7 days with hours to be split between 2 personal care assistants. Hours to be discussed further at interview as some flexibility with times of support is possible for the right candidates.
The roles are open to female applicants with a full UK driving licence and will involve help with personal care, medications, monitoring of health conditions, and domestic tasks including cleaning, cooking/baking, and assisting with other tasks around the home as needed. The successful candidates will need to be considerate of care needs and home environment and take pride in providing a high level of care and support. Applicants must be able to respect privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.
Ideally, the successful applicants will:
have had all Covid 19 / Flu vaccinations and be willing to have further vaccines each year when available, be willing to use PPE in and out of the home when requested, be a non-smoker.
