Assisting the team with day-to-day operations of regulatory reporting– Short Selling Disclosure, REMIT, EMIR, MAS, Transaction Reporting etc. Resolving BAU exceptions within the regulatory timeline. Improving reporting processes to track/resolve exceptions. Building controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting. Documenting operational processes and procedures in line with regulatory requirements. Managing daily workflow, ensuring trades are reported within the regulatory deadlines. Ongoing awareness of the regulatory environment and the firm’s adherence to its reporting obligations through the attendance of industry working groups and/or forums. Assessing on a continuous basis regulatory reporting risks and developments, to ensure changes are made in line with regulation. Leading continuous process improvement to drive efficiency. Your present skillset:
Strong understanding of European, UK, and APAC regulations, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and the day-to-day delivery of reports. Experience in regulatory reporting operations including exception management and issue resolution. Experience in analysing and documentation of the regulatory text along with system and trade flows understanding. Proactive and self-starting individual with a high level of ownership. A confident and assertive individual, able to communicate effectively with colleagues across the firm. Motivated by daily operational processes and the opportunity to develop and refine those processes. Strong Excel and SQL skills.
