We are excited to announce a new job opportunity within our Facades & Cladding Division at Guildmore. We are looking for a talented and dedicated Bid Writer/Bid Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Complete PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) forms and address quality questions to meet client expectations. Manage various inquiry portals and proactively search for new project opportunities. Create a bid summary once a tender is logged into the system. Attend Bid/No-Bid meetings to assess project suitability. Collaborate with Pre-construction Manager, Project Managers, and Design Manager to understand project requirements and client expectations. Review project documents, ITT, and Employers' requirements to determine the scope of work and scoring criteria. Participate in framework tendering processes as needed. Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of bid-related documents and templates. Develop well-organized, detailed, and compelling bid proposals that convey the company's value proposition. Utilize software to create logistical diagrams and schedules, ensuring they are presented attractively. Review bid documents for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to client requirements. Verify the inclusion of all necessary forms, certifications, and attachments in the bid package. Monitor bid statuses and engage in follow-up activities with clients and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, ideally in construction. Must be a native English speaker. Must have 5/6 years of experience in bid writing. Proven experience as a Construction Bid Writer or a similar role in the construction industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in construction estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor services. Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry standards. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Adaptability to changing project requirements.
