This remote based Business Quality Officer job is for a multi-award winning national financial advice business, building a diverse workforce. As a Business Quality Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing the suitability and quality of advice through file checking cases pre-sale. If you identify any areas of concern or development, it would be part of your role to provide appropriate and supportive feedback to the Financial Advisors and Paraplanners. You will be regularly working with your fellow departments such as Training & Compliance, Technical & Proposition, and Paraplanning. The business utilises remote working but likes to attend meetings in their Farnborough office. Therefore, it is important that you are happy to attend the office from time to time, such as on a monthly basis. The business has a specialist pension team; therefore, if you have experience/qualifications in DB pension transfers, that would be beneficial but not essential. The position is similar to that of an IFA File Checker. Business Quality Officer Requirements

You should have experience as a File Checker for pension and investment advice cases. Experience of DB pension transfers, inheritance tax, and trusts would be beneficial but not essential. You must be fully Diploma qualified. Individuals with advanced AF exams would be desirable (such as AF3 / AF7). This role could suit Paraplanners who want to move into business quality/compliance.
