Additionally, you will organise effective onboarding and oversee initial training and development reviews for all new employees during their probation periods, working closely with the relevant managers. Key Responsibilities Ensure recruitment campaigns align with succession plans and internal development, using best practices and complying with GDPR and UK employment regulations. Create job descriptions, adverts, and organise open days with hiring managers. Train managers in best recruitment practices and keep them updated on progress, while coordinating with the HR Manager and Administrators. Manage recruitment advertising, liaising with agencies and headhunters to ensure cost-effective and efficient methods. Respond to applicants promptly and professionally, ensuring GDPR compliance. Track recruitment activity, compile progress reports, and present annual recruitment statistics. File selection and candidate documentation, coordinating with the HR Manager for employment documentation and legal checks. Organise and deliver onboarding for ground vacancies, plan training and development, and schedule probation reviews, addressing any issues with the HR Manager. Recommend further training and development, conduct new employee surveys to improve recruitment and onboarding processes. Manage and administer the Recruitment Referral Scheme. What you need to succeed Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment and selection gained across a range of industries managing recruitment from Graduate to Board level positions. Proven experience of managing large recruitment campaigns. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and all-round communication skills. Knowledge and experience of developing selection processes e.g. assessment centres with Group exercises, competency based interviewing skills. Understanding and experience of managing aptitude and ability tests and psychometric profiling. Ability to influence others, work on own initiative as well as lead a team and participate as a team member. Good knowledge, understanding and experience managing UK employment regulations, GDPR and immigration regulations within the recruitment and onboarding process. Excellent knowledge and ability to manage and use various administrative and recruitment software recruitment packages.
