I am currently recruiting on behalf of a very successful company based within the housing sector. They specialise in retirement living projects such as accommodation, flats, and care homes. They have an excellent reputation within this type of work and are known to be one of the best in this industry. They now seek a freelance site manager to cover one of their sites in Wells, Somerset. The site is just starting at groundwork level and will be building 1 block of apartments.
You will be employed as a freelance site manager based in Wells. The day rate is negotiable between £250-£260 per day DOE. General day-to-day duties include:
Following the programme set by the manager during the cover
Maintaining health and safety
Overseeing and managing trades
Reporting to senior management as needed
You must have SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid to be considered for the role. You must have experience within housing-type projects and be confident in managing trades. They need somebody who can hit the ground running, be well-organised, and have strong communication and leadership skills.
