On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a

Lead Solution Architect

to join on an initial 3-month contract. As the Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business. The primary objective of this role is to deploy, maintain and improve the ServiceNow Service Management platform used to support its external customers and internal staff.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of complex IT solutions that meet the business needs of the organisation. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into solution designs. Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation. Provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure the quality and integrity of the final solution. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and frameworks to improve solution design and delivery. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and procedures related to solution design and delivery. Manage and mentor a team of BAs, admins, solution architects and developers. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Essential Skills:

Experience working as a ServiceNow Application Architect, carrying out system maintenance and upgrades. Experience using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design and UI Actions. Experience of the CSM module. Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, CMDB, Performance Analytics and Reporting. Demonstrable knowledge of Domain Separation and RBAC controls. Demonstrable knowledge of Platform Integrations and data normalization. Demonstrable knowledge of scripting in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, Angular etc. Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform administration.
