Location – Kings Norton, Birmingham

About the Role

As a Facilities Helpdesk Manager and Contract Support, you will inspire excellence in customer service delivery and lead the daily support for various contracts, internal managers, and key customers, driving success and nurturing meaningful connections.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure timely issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.

Manage and negotiate vendor contracts; ensure compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain relationships with service providers and act as the client liaison.

Supervise helpdesk staff, provide training, and allocate resources efficiently.

Champion business systems and oversee CMMS software for improved service delivery.

Monitor budgets, raise purchase orders and invoices.

Identify and mitigate risks related to services and compliance.

Ensure adherence to regulations and provide performance reports to stakeholders.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Demonstrated experience working on a helpdesk, providing support and assistance to clients and internal stakeholders.

Proven experience in a supervisor or managerial role, overseeing team members and driving success.

You must be a confident communicator and able to work independently as part of a busy engineering projects team.

A strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.

A proactive attitude and the willingness to take initiative in improving processes and efficiencies within the team.

Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure project success.
