As part of a dynamic digital services team operating within the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, you will provide day-to-day leadership, project management, and coordination of the Electronic Patient Record (ePR) System programme delivery. This is a very complex and high-level project that will impact across the Trust. The role will ensure that our services, practices, and resources are effectively applied to deliver the programme within timescale and budget.

The post-holder will be responsible for leading a portfolio. This will include leading the implementation of ePR programme delivery through a programme approach, in line with the ULHT strategy, national guidance, and best practice.

Main duties of the job Responsible for designing and developing the Programme structure and governance arrangements to deliver sustainable service improvement in line with strategic objectives.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Masters level qualification in an ICT related subject or equivalent experience. Evidence of leadership and management qualification to Masters Level. Or evidence of further qualification in leadership and management to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent, experience managing and developing multiple teams with further training/experience equivalent to Masters Level. ITIL Foundation Qualification. Advanced Project Management Qualification e.g., Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent. Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.

Desirable Benefits management methodology. MSP foundation/practitioner. ITIL Expert or Capability Level qualifications. Healthcare leadership qualification.

Previous Experience Essential Significant professional experience managing and leading teams or departments. Experience of working at a senior/corporate level within the NHS. Demonstrable experience in leading, motivating, and managing teams. Significant experience of communicating and working with staff at all levels. Experience of budget and staff management. Experience of managing competing priorities. Experience of change management/service redesign/programme management at scale.

Desirable Experience of managing and successfully delivering a Programme. Experience of NHS/Government procurement processes.

Evidence of Particular: - Knowledge - Skills - Aptitudes Essential Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework: Patient Centred, Safety, Compassion, Respect, and Excellence. Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to create a team approach amongst Project Leads. Good understanding of POISE (Procurement of Information Systems Effectively). Good knowledge of financial and staff management. Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems. Ability to use IT packages - Microsoft Office. Understanding of working with confidential information. Ability to make sound judgements and decision making.

Specific Requirements Essential An awareness of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes. Sufficient seniority and professional credibility to advise and influence project leads on delivery in relation to the Programme. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Ability to identify strategic links with programme and projects. Committed to continuous improvement and proactive in problem solving.

Desirable A knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes. A knowledge of project management approaches.
