Field Based HR Case Manager

to support our client's business in the South West Region. The ideal candidate will be CIPD level 5 or above and will possess excellent communication and written skills to liaise with all levels across the business. The role provides in-depth exposure to complex people matters and requires experience in managing numerous HR cases. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of cases, providing advice and guidance to managers on complex matters. Focus on achieving the best outcome for both colleagues and the business. Handle serious conduct matters, employee relation issues, and capability concerns, including thorough investigations and suspensions when required. Provide face-to-face support to Managers or act as HR lead on complex people matters, including hearings and appeals nationwide. Ensure good employment practice through the provision of clear advice in line with company HR policies and procedures. Adopt a pragmatic approach in offering solutions to managers while recognizing legal and regulatory requirements. Work autonomously and use initiative on delegated work areas, seeking advice from senior colleagues when necessary. Review and prepare letters/documents for formal hearings and provide feedback to Managers as required. Ensure accurate recording of case management details on the system and manage cases proactively through to conclusion. Measures: Accurate diary management Compliance with HR policy and legislation/processes Risk analysis SLAs met Successful resolution of people issues with appropriate support Accurate and timely completion of case management administration Skills: Ability to work remotely, autonomously, and use own initiative. Confident manner in dealing with a diverse range of people, utilizing good interpersonal and influencing skills. Commercial acumen Effective stakeholder management with excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to the audience. Ability to quickly forge relationships, win trust, and build confidence. Conflict management skills Ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical and creative solutions. Prioritization skills under pressure Good questioning and listening skills Proficient with telephony and multiple technology platforms Self-management while maintaining a team ethos Ability to maintain confidentiality To apply, you must have a proven track record of dealing with complex HR cases, demonstrate good knowledge of current employment law and legislation, and hold the relevant CIPD qualification. Salary is up to 43K and this is a field-based role. Excellent benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company discounts, and a company car.
