We have a fantastic opportunity for a Unit Manager to lead our team in our Southend PET-CT Centre. As a CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Radiographers, Clinical Assistant and Administrators to ensure the delivery of a quality service and the highest quality of patient care. The Unit Manager will ensure that the service is fully compliant with all relevant legislation and all Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures. We are looking for a strong unit manager to take this site forward. As the units registered manager you will be responsible for the operational running of the unit and the clinical excellence, supported by a high performing clinical lead and support team. We welcome applicants from both a clinical and operational background. Knowledge and experience of previous CQC inspections would be an advantage. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be IT literate. Please note that we will be interviewing throughout the duration of this advert. Skills And Experiance As a CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of Radiographers, Clinical Assistants and Administrators to ensure the delivery of a quality service and the highest quality of patient care. You will ensure that the service is fully compliant with all relevant legislation, Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures and will work alongside key stakeholders within the CDC. You will also be required to manage the cnetres budget and performance targets. We are looking for ambitious individuals who have experience in managing a team in a clinical setting, ideally with first hand clinical experience. You should have knowledge and experience of managing a business budget and experience in developing customer relationships. You should have experience in delivering an optimum patient focused service and accustomed to working in collaboration with multiple internal and external customers in an efficient and productive way. You must have Evidence of a degree or equivalent level of qualification Highly developed specialist knowledge of area of expertise, underpinned by theoretical and practical experience Awareness of, and compliance with Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures, Radiation Regulations (IRMER, IRR 17 and EPR 2010) if modality requires this, CQC requirements and Health and Safety legislation Awareness of, and compliance with Data Protection and Patient confidentiality Undertake initial and refresher mandatory training to ensure compliance at all times Experience: Evidence of extra responsibility to support senior application Experience of managing a team Knowledge and experience of managing a business budget Experience in developing customer relationships Must be IT literate Enhanced DBS clearance required Full driving license essential for mobiles Flexibility to operate across multiple sites if required Clinical Experience (non-essential): BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography and/or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Minimum of 3 years’ experience in on site modality Post Grad training in specialised field of MRI/CT an advantage IV Cannulation Certificate HCPC registration essential About Alliance Medical Alliance Medical are Europe’s leading independent provider of imaging services.
