Christchurch Company Info: Our client has been manufacturing components for aerospace and defence clients for over 60 years and is currently seeking to recruit QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEERS. You will become part of a prestigious company within the UK. Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (Disclosure & Barring Service) may be required. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. Skills required for this QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER position: Minimum 3 years experience as a quality engineer and working with aerospace quality systems Knowledge of sheet metal, composites, manufacturing methods and mechanical assemblies Ability to read engineering drawings and jobs cards Partake in MRB, review and approve work instructions / operation sheets, assist in RCCA actions, prepare, and submit FAIR's Work with cross-functional teams including planning, engineering, manufacturing, inspection and shipping to improve product quality Participate in internal quality audits and participate in New Product Introduction, development and failure investigations Support inspection across several functions in a technically demanding aerospace market Benefits we offer for the Quality Control Engineer role: Competitive salary Competitive overtime rates On-site parking How to apply for the Quality Control Engineer role: Please submit your most up-to-date CV to naomi.lawry@ristara.co.uk or call our office for a discussion on how we can find you your next move within your chosen sector.
