Qualified Gas Engineer

£15 - £21.50 per hour Our client has vacancies for commercial and domestic gas engineers for guaranteed work within the West Midlands area. The Role To provide PPM to homes, schools, factories, and commercial buildings. Candidates must have good customer service skills as you will be representing the company. Must have previous experience and be able to work within teams and be comfortable taking sole ownership of the jobs allocated to you. Key Responsibilities All aspects of Commercial gas equipment, including pipework repairs/installations, small boiler installs, gas soundness testing, pressurisation sets, pumps, etc. To carry out routine servicing, repairs, and from time to time small installations. To recognise and complete all necessary compliance records in line with legislation. To carry out site inspections, audits, and periodic checks. Duties to include call out. Preferably with a secondary skill if Gas work runs short (i.e., plumbing, electrical, or AC). Skills and Qualifications Relevant Gas qualifications available and in date. Any other training records. Significant previous experience to support other engineers and deal with clients’ needs. Other relevant building services qualifications e.g., AC, electrical, fabric.
