8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday Join a reputable construction firm based in Letchworth as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. Our client specialises in residential projects and is seeking a skilled professional with previous experience in surveying and estimating, who is degree-qualified and able to carry out a range of essential duties on residential sites. Responsibilities:
Preparation of budgets and estimates for residential construction projects Handling sub-contract enquiries and negotiations Measurement and valuation of interim and final accounts Ensuring cost control and profitability of projects Collaborating with project teams to achieve financial objectives Providing accurate and timely financial reports Managing variations and change orders effectively Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator role, with a focus on residential projects Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in industry-standard surveying software and tools Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Benefits:
