This role within the Company will entail the verification & quality of incoming, outgoing & internally manufactured products. That these products are in accordance with customer requirements, accrediting bodies requirements & internal company processes & procedures.

The Quality Inspector will also need to have integrity, excellent communication ability and solid attention to detail, while being happy to adapt and work with production to ensure Quality requirements are met in a timely manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out dimensional inspections using traditional manual inspection & CMM Laser tracker (FARO) methods. Assist the Nonconformity review (NCR) process with initial investigation. Provide feedback to Quality, Engineering & Production teams on quality of product and highlight opportunities for improvement. Complete QA reviews of new enquiries or orders via the contract review process. Review of completed manufacturing documentation prior to product delivery. Produce final release documentation packs and inspection reports for component acceptance. Compile First Article Reports in accordance with AS9102. Drive a continuous improvement culture.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with FARO or similar Laser Tracker systems preferable or use of applications such as Polyworks, Spatial Analyzer or similar metrology software. Understanding of technical drawings, knowledge of GD&T would be advantageous. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge working to ISO 9001 quality management system. Willingness to adapt under pressure to ensure Quality requirements are met in a timely manner. Experience working directly with suppliers and customers.

40 hours per week 8.00 - 5.00 Mon - Thurs / Fri 8.00 - 2.00.

Salary: Circa £45,000.
