An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join the highly specialised team at a secure facility in York. This hospital provides comprehensive forensic services to patients, offering challenging yet highly rewarding work with opportunities for rapid learning and exposure to diverse treatment modalities. The hospital has a proven record of excellent recovery outcomes, supporting patients to progress to low secure or locked rehabilitation settings. The facility's therapeutic programme is designed to help patients develop coping strategies, increase resilience, and access the community, thereby maximising recovery potential. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment that prioritises individualised, person-centred care for patients with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will be supported by a caring and positive team, all working collaboratively to change lives one patient at a time. Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will: Hold a Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN. Be a team player, ready to collaborate within multifunctional teams. Demonstrate self-awareness, seeking support and advice when needed. Possess strong listening and rapport-building skills. Be organised and able to prioritise effectively.
