What you will do:
Assess and treat your own caseload of clients, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records. Provide, develop, and manage highly specialised interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people. Clinically supervise less experienced psychologists, psychological therapists, assistants, and trainees, guiding them to reach their potential. Coordinate the provision of specialist services and offer expert advice to other professions and carers. Assist in the overall day-to-day running and management of the facility under the guidance of the Clinical Director. Requirements:
Possess a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and meet all requirements for HCPC registration. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council is essential. Demonstrated clinical experience working with children, families, and young people is crucial, and post-qualified work experience in a clinical environment is desirable. At least one year of experience in an appropriate setting with children, young people, and their families is mandatory. Experience with developmental trauma and attachment difficulties or in children's residential care is desirable. Typically working 37.5 hours per week from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, this full-time position offers the flexibility of negotiating part-time arrangements if required.
