Systems Architect
| Telford | Permanent | Up to £43,000 | Annual Bonus Cherry Professional are looking for a Systems Architect. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, efficient, and robust architectures, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Responsibilities: Work closely with project management teams, software developers, service desk, hardware engineers, suppliers, and clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions while meeting customer time constraints. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams throughout the development and implementation phases. Conduct assessments and optimisation of existing digital signage systems to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in digital signage. Recommend innovative solutions to improve our offerings. Develop and document system architecture. Design specifications for digital signage projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Oversee the integration of various digital signage components, including hardware (displays, audio systems, lighting, media players, networking) and software (content management systems, monitoring tools). Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture designs, system configurations, and operational procedures. Act as a technical liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and providing expert advice on system capabilities and best practices.
Ideal Candidate: Degree in Bachelor of Science, Software or Engineering and or relevant discipline. MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project). Experience with computer servers, network switches, load balancers, network analysers, and network channel or data service units. Knowledge of developing strategic system architecture plans. Solid understanding of network and system development and deployment.
