Role summary: The role of the Collection and Delivery Manager is to lead and manage the collections and deliveries in an efficient manner that ensures we deliver great service to our customers every time. The Collection and Delivery Manager is also responsible for the effective management of all service delivery partners and PAYE drivers ensuring high quality performance is delivered. Key to this is the Collection and Delivery Manager's responsibility to manage the Service Centre and its satellites (if applicable) in the day-to-day collection and delivery network. Essential Criteria: Proven record of delivering great service to customers and managing ongoing customer relationships. Experience of managing a diverse workforce including sub-contractors, self-employed drivers, and PAYE drivers. Experience of managing direct cost budget. Ability to use Microsoft XP (Excel, Word, Email, Access, PowerPoint) or similar database. Always maintain a calm and rational presence, even when in pressured situations. Ability to identify problems and design deployable solutions. Essential criteria for this role: Previous experience in the mail or distribution industry.
