Key Responsibilities
Act as a role model for high standards of work & safety Create switching schedules for Ops Create switching schedules for the creation of a safe workplace Issue/approve switching schedules Perform Switching Tasks Guide the switching assistant during switching operations Take responsibility as Person in Control of the electrical Installation during work Work closely together with the person responsible for the work activity Ensure the correct LOTO usage by the Com. & O&M Team Perform the Role as Person in control of the work activity where needed Safely operate the plant under BLP Wind Electrical Safety Rules alongside other Procedure.
Key Tasks Support the electrical team during commissioning phase of project Performing and coordinate (part of) the electrical activities Perform remote and local switching operations where required Coordinate with Control Engineer before starting and after finishing the activities Planning, administration, management and/or development of the electrical works on site Grant permission for electrical activities to commence Guarantee electrical safety on site (apply the 5 essential safety rules & ensure that the BLP WESR are being followed) Ensure all requirements, rules and instructions are followed by all persons involved Perform switching operations Apply or remove earth on site Stop activities if safety is compromised Supervise or authorize a person to perform the role as Person in Control of the work activity Take the role as (Delegate) Person in Control of the electrical installation Approve, Issue PtWs Communication / Coordination of work on site unless delegated to another person Supervise maintenance works Planning and implementation of HV/LV isolations Facilitation of works in the field as required by the PREI Perform pre-energization walkdowns Training the O&M Team ready for handover from EPC Perform switching tasks on the offshore facilities as required
Qualifications Experienced in HV commissioning Operations under electrical safety rules, Safety documentation, switching schedules, Electrical regulations. GWO offshore certification Preferred: Polish language. Preferred SEP Qualified.
