Paint Shop Supervisor
for a manufacturing business in Farnborough. This is a permanent role with a salary circa GBP32,000 to GBP34,000 depending on experience plus benefits including health and life assurance cover.
Responsibilities: Supervising a small team in driving continuous improvement processes, production, and team performance to meet business goals. Ensure the team are aware of production schedules and priorities. Oversee quality control for the department and communicate production plans within the team. Implement health and safety practices across the paint shop. Manage inventory, including raw materials, paint shelf life, and purchasing. Manage department budgets and reporting.
Skills and experience required for the Paint Shop Supervisory role: Experience of both wet and power coating processes, able to identify areas for improvement. Experience with bills of materials, be organised and possess good multitasking skills. Supervisory/leadership experience for managing a small team.
