Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

at our Swansea site. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: As the EHS Manager, you will lead and guide our Swansea site to achieve excellence in safety, environmental sustainability, and occupational health. Collaborating closely with the site leadership team and the Performance Carbon division, you will: Implement and oversee the

ThinkSAFE program , promoting a proactive and safety-first culture across the site. Ensure compliance with

environmental permits

and collaborate with local authorities on variations or new permits. Develop and deliver

EHS programs, policies, and training , ensuring all employees are equipped to uphold high standards of safety and sustainability. Monitor, investigate, and report incidents

and near-misses using tools such as root cause analysis, while actively promoting preventative actions. Maintain and improve ISO14001 compliance and other regulatory requirements. Be a

visible presence on the shop floor , engaging with employees and fostering cultural change in alignment with our corporate values. Qualifications

What You’ll Bring: Experience : Nebosh Diploma (or similar qualification), ideally with professional body membership (e.g., IOSH). A minimum of 5–7 years in EHS roles, preferably within high-risk manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience in environmental compliance and process safety programs such as

HAZOP/HAZID . Skills : Strong communication and leadership skills to influence and engage teams at all levels. Full understanding of ISO14001 standards and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
