Purpose As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring all technical drawings, components, and production requirements meet customer specifications and align with industry regulations. Responsibilities Ensuring all product designs comply with relevant building regulations, legislation, and directives. Staying updated on industry advancements to promote continual improvement. Managing project-specific product design to meet critical timeframes and customer requirements. Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including CAD-based designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Reviewing and updating general arrangement drawings and wiring schematics to ensure design accuracy. Conducting bench tests on new product designs to maintain performance integrity. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of design projects.

Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar). Experience in design for manufacture and sheet metal fabrication. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of delivering results under pressure. Knowledge of CNC programming and Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
