About the role The Contracts and Tenders team are a critical part of Bidfood’s Customer Development structure, which is responsible for the management of prospecting, and the production of tenders for existing and new National Account and Freetrade Multiple customers. In our team we work all together to… Support Bidfood in becoming market leaders Channel our energy into creating unique and compelling customer propositions Add value by fully understanding our customers Implement business and operational change to drive benefit Remain flexible and adaptable whilst servicing our customers profitably Have a healthy team passion for winning In this role, you will support the National Accounts tendering process helping with the retention of existing business and winning new business through new contracts and range extensions. You will work across sectors to ensure tenders are delivered within deadlines, and produce professional tender documentation within authorised trading terms. As part of this team, you will build an internal network fast as you work closely with multiple departments across the business in a collective effort to show off our business in the bid for new National customers. A bit about you… You will ideally have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight time pressures You will be able to use your own initiative and work well as part of a team You will have good PC literacy skills with Intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Outlook and Word. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be organised and able to prioritise workload whilst meeting all deadlines. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow existing processes is essential. You will have a creative flare (not essential) and ability to think of innovative ways to present our proposition to our customers Our fun and social team are proud of how we support each other to create winning tender documents.
