Supplier Quality Engineer Needed! We are seeking a talented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Crewe on a contract basis for 6 months. Pay Range:

£30 - £35 per hour (inside IR35 via umbrella) Contract Duration:

6 months Location:

Crewe (4 days onsite) In this role, you will be responsible for parts and supplier quality planning activities for priority 1 bought-in parts during both launch and series phases. Your expertise will ensure delivery in line with design specifications and the achievement of VW group quality standards. You will also provide technical support and drive quality improvements at external suppliers to meet product quality targets. The successful candidate will have: Extensive engineering experience in multiple commodities or as a specialist in one. Strong background in automotive supplier quality management. Demonstrated ability to mature parts and resolve technical problems related to parts quality from suppliers. Proven track record of achieving QA standards within time and cost constraints. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at board level. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and custom applications. Additionally, practical knowledge of electrical commodities or expertise in a specific commodity is highly desirable. Experience in quality techniques such as statistical process control and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 6-sigma, DoE) will be advantageous.
