Production Manager
based in Merthyr Tydfil. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a growing manufacturing team. About the Role:
As a
Production Manager , you will lead and manage a team of 12-15 operatives, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, quality, and efficiency are met. This role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the manufacturing unit. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and effective people management to the production team. Hands-on involvement in the production line and manufacturing processes. Manage production planning, stock, and materials control to optimise processes. Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture throughout the facility. Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery are consistently achieved. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance. About You:
Proven leadership and people management abilities within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with production processes and a solid understanding of commonly used manufacturing techniques. Expertise in production planning, resource management, and process optimisation. A proactive and safety-conscious approach to promoting Health & Safety culture. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. What’s on Offer:
Competitive salary of £33,000 - £35,000 (Negotiable depending on experience). Monday to Friday schedule, offering a healthy work-life balance. 28 days of holiday (including statutory and Bank Holidays).
