I am looking for an experienced Production Supervisor/Team Leader.
Your job title currently could be - Production Manager, Head of Production, Production Assembly Manager, Production Assembly Supervisor, Assembly Manager, Assembly Supervisor, Workshop Manager, Workshop Supervisor, Production Support Manager, Production Team Lead, Production Leader, or Manufacturing Team Leader.
The purpose of the job is to keep a watchful eye on the production output, organization, build quality, and contribute towards an organized and slick production department.
Whilst professional practice, systems, and reporting are expected to be maintained, this person MUST be a Visible Leader. We don't want a person who wishes to sit behind their PCs all day in their office writing reports on health and safety, or who wants to “work from home” and leave production unattended. This role is available to support where required.
Motivate, support, and lead the people, combining strength with excellent people leadership and guidance skills.
This position could suit a person who aspires towards a managerial role in the future.
The company is established and of a good size; they provide electromechanical systems based on high specification products and are expanding.
The ideal candidate will have worked extensively in electromechanical assembly. They will have both the experience to improve current assembly practices and also be able to provide the solution, design, and recommendations for adding new assembly lines and production cells to handle new higher volume products and output.
