My client is looking for an Estimator/QS to join the team!
This role is perfect for someone who's detail-oriented, great with numbers, and ready to take on the challenge of preparing accurate project costs while keeping things running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
Breaking down project specs, drawings, and documents to work out detailed cost estimates. Spotting potential risks and ensuring everything's accounted for in your forecasts. Teaming up with project managers and others to gather all the info you need. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and labour costs to keep estimates sharp. Keeping an eye on project budgets and helping to control costs to hit targets. Pulling together clear and concise reports and presentations for management. Jumping into client meetings to discuss project details and make sure everyone's on the same page.
What We're Looking For:
A sharp eye for detail and great analytical skills. Confidence with cost control tools and techniques. Top-notch communication skills, whether it's emails, reports, or chats with the team. A team player who's happy to collaborate and share ideas. Organised and able to juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat. Comfortable using estimating and project management software.
