Expert in Sustainable Active Ingredients - Global Sales Manager @ Bridge Farm Bioscience
Job Purpose and Scope: This role will be responsible for the analysis of plant-derived ingredients that will be used in applications from pharmaceuticals to cosmetics. This includes in-process samples, finished product, and stability samples ensuring all test methods are compliant with GMP and ISO requirements. Working closely with the Production Team as functional ingredients and medicinal products are produced to provide analytical information whilst following applicable policies and standard operating procedures. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Routine use of HPLC, GC, and GC-MS equipment for the testing and quantification of plant-derived products. Ensure sample preparations are carried out effectively following written standard operating procedures. Good presentation skills are required to present oral and written reports. Responsible for checking stock of consumables and ensure orders are placed as required. Able to maintain good laboratory housekeeping whilst working in compliance with regulatory guidelines. To inform an Analyst or CSO when faults are evident in any equipment. Skills, Knowledge & Experience: A level or BTEC level 3 in maths and/or other STEM subjects. Good level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office packages. Laboratory experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The Bridge Farm Bioscience sites are not served by public transport, so a driving licence is desirable. Resourceful, proactive, and ‘can do’ attitude. Excellent time management, organisational and people skills. Honest, friendly, approachable, and good team member.
