As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll join a highly skilled team designing bespoke machinery and providing world-class technical support. This is an ideal role for a candidate with strong technical skills and a willingness to travel internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical design for heavy machinery, extrusion tooling, and process plants. Commissioning and installing Conform extrusion lines at customer sites. Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing client liaison. Preparing technical documentation, including drawings to BS8888 standards. Producing detailed reports and supporting global customer inquiries.
What We're Looking For:
A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 3D design software. Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). A willingness to travel internationally.
Desirable Skills:
Hands-on experience with inspection and quality control. Familiarity with metalworking manufacturing processes. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
