In a nutshell…
Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Spalding who promote growth and development. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire factory carrying out regular PPM maintenance, repair and inspections of production equipment and be involved in continuous improvement projects. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out fault finding and identify improvements that can be made to improve and reduce downtime and increase efficiency. You will have previous experience working within a factory/manufacturing environment as an engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background.
What's involved for the Multi Skilled Engineer… Carry out regular inspections, servicing and repair work on manufacturing equipment Carry out planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns Fault find and make plant adjustments with factory manager Respond to breakdowns Maintain stock of various spare parts, tools and equipment Must be able to work on own calmly and effectively or as part of a team What you'll need… Engineer experience within a factory is a MUST Strong electrical and mechanical experience working on factory machinery City & Guilds 17 th
