In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create electrical schematics, select the right switchgear components, and ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
You will also offer technical expertise to customers and internal teams, providing insights on switchgear design and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design electrical schematics and layouts for switchgear systems. Select suitable switchgear components based on project needs. Ensure that designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to facilitate project delivery. Provide technical guidance to both customers and internal teams regarding switchgear applications. Contribute to product development and initiatives for continuous improvement. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to switchgear design. Essential Skillset:
ONC / HNC / Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in switchgear design and application. Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and switchgear components. Knowledge of relevant industry standards (IEC, ENA). Skilled in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN). Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
