As a Project Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Producing financial models and enhancing existing processes and procedures across the department. Preparing budgets, forecasting, and tracking project costs to ensure alignment with financial objectives. Working across the business to improve understanding of the finance function to non-financial stakeholders. Producing detailed financial reports, performing variance analysis, and providing insightful recommendations to support decision-making. Liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure financial compliance and provide accurate updates on project performance. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant experience in project accounting or financial management. You will possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, as well as advanced knowledge of Excel. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to manage competing deadlines effectively alongside a confidence in your own priorities and direction.
Our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience, and the chance to work initially on an exciting project that will make a real impact; however, it does possess the potential to become a permanent appointment in the future.
