reports into easyJet’s Schedule Design Manager. This role will drive improvements to the performance and stability of easyJet’s flying schedule using a variety of tools and analyses while also optimising easyJet’s expansive slot portfolio. The role holder will convey these proposed improvements to both internal and external stakeholders, at varying levels of seniority. The analytical capability and data-driven solutions delivered by the role holder will influence revenue improvement and cost reduction scenarios applied into easyJet’s schedule. The Schedule Design scenarios constitute a vital element of RDF (Route Development Forum) and Schedule Planning Cycle. The Schedule Design Analyst function is to deliver these processes within established timelines and workstream distributions set by the Schedule Design Manager, whilst ensuring KPIs and trade-offs are supported throughout the cycle for each schedule scenario. What you’ll be doing: Provide analytical support and guidance to members of the Schedule Design Team to help drive data-led insights and decision-making. Innovate, develop, calibrate and utilise the dashboard and analytical tools for the Schedule Design Team aimed at the improvement of the Schedule design areas in conjunction with the wider Scheduling function. Develop methodology for monitoring and enhancing the core KPIs of easyJet’s schedule in phase of design and development of the schedule to the internal stakeholders. Develop analysis aimed at facilitating trade-off decisions within commercial and operation whenever challenging KPIs arise from schedule scenarios. Develop analysis using external and internal data sources to quantify RPS and CPBH generated for each schedule developed, in order to drive changes to easyJet’s programme leading to effective revenue and cost-conscious scenarios. Lead innovative projects that explore how we approach Schedule Design, liaising with key stakeholders and driving value. Steer internal and external stakeholders through existing processes and into new processes, giving data-driven insights and persuasive logic-based arguments. Manage analytical projects, produce high-quality results and deliver presentations as part of a team and/or as an individual. Using analytical techniques as well as existing tools, deliver on optimisation objectives according to operational and commercial requirements. What you will need to do this role: Highly numerate & analytical with a strong attention to detail. Excellent stakeholder management. An innovative mindset, with an ability to think critically. A love of data and the ability to provide in-depth insights from it. Knowledge of business research methodologies. Expert knowledge of MS Office essential, with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint. Project Management Experience preferred. Knowledge of scheduling systems, including Amadeus SkySuite and/or Sabre Air Vision, is preferred. Working knowledge of SQL data mining tools and ability to extract and manipulate data is preferred. Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Tenacity, focus and resilience to deliver the plan. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
