My client is a leading civil contractor based in Christchurch working on projects throughout New Zealand. They are creating a new role within their management team for a Water Manager. In this senior role, you will play a pivotal part in building and leading a dynamic team dedicated to the design and construction of water treatment projects across New Zealand. Key Responsibilities : Leadership:

Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing team focused on water treatment projects. Project Management:

Oversee the design and construction phases of water treatment projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency. Design Expertise:

Leverage your extensive background in water treatment design, from conception through to implementation. Market Knowledge:

Utilize your understanding of the New Zealand water industry and local market dynamics to drive project success and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. Client Facing:

Be the main point of contact with clients for all water-related projects. Requirements : Experience:

Proven track record in water treatment design and project management, ideally with experience in a design consultancy specializing in water-based projects. Local Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of the New Zealand market, including key players and regulatory requirements. Leadership Skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, driving performance and fostering collaboration. Qualifications:

Relevant engineering or design qualifications in water management or a related field. Travel:

Although based in Christchurch, the projects will be countrywide and as such there will be some travel to projects as required. Why Join Us?
