office based, Monday to Friday, with only a 35-hour working week ! The
hours are also flexible, with the core hours being 10am-4pm . This role is
paying a salary of up to £33,000 depending on experience . This
role does require travel

The Trainee Planner will assist in balancing diverse demands such as housing, industry, transport, and environmental needs. Key responsibilities include: Providing innovative planning solutions Consulting with stakeholders Negotiating with councils, architects, and other professionals Researching planning policies Drafting Planning, Design, and Access Statements Utilizing IT systems such as CAD or GIS to support proposals Attending and presenting at planning boards, appeals, and public inquiries Staying updated on land-use legislation Effective resource scheduling to achieve planning targets This position provides an opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team culture in a supportive business environment.
