We are seeking a Lecturer in Fashion to teach across our suite of courses in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This role is ideal for an experienced academic or industry specialist with a background in the UK and/or global fashion industry, and specific expertise in Fashion Marketing and Design. Areas of focus could include visual brand communication, fashion criticism, circular fashion practices and contemporary issues in the sector, pattern cutting and garment construction, marketing strategies, consumer behaviour, merchandising and e-commerce platforms. As a Lecturer, you will contribute to both our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, playing a key role in supporting students at all levels. This will include teaching a range of modules within the fashion marketing and design subject area, providing support and guidance to students, and actively contributing to curriculum development. You should hold a relevant degree in a related field, ideally coupled with postgraduate qualifications or a willingness to pursue further education through research and professional development. A qualification in the Higher Education sector would be advantageous. We are looking for a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of Fashion Marketing and Design, alongside knowledge of current professional practices within the fashion and associated industries, and the ability to communicate this effectively to students.
