Description
Act as a key business partner for all UK directorates, providing financial insight and advice.
Lead the implementation of financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, to improve accessibility, and functionality.
Oversee audit processes, ensuring compliance with UK laws and donor requirements.
Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to drive systems improvements and integration.
Train and mentor business partners and non-financial colleagues to improve financial literacy.
Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to align strategic objectives with operational goals.
Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors.
Provide leadership to the team, fostering a culture of proactivity, collaboration, and accountability.
Profile
The successful Head of Business Partnering will:
Be a qualified accountant (CCAB - ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record in leadership roles.
Have experience in business partnering, financial systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
Possess exceptional communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
Bring experience in audits, compliance, and working with complex, multi-entity organisations.
Have NGO or not-for-profit sector experience (desirable but not essential).
Longevity in previous roles and a strategic mindset will be key to success in this role.
Job Offer
Competitive salary of up to £75,000.
