A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience, ideally in the water/wastewater or aquaculture sectors. Knowledge and understanding of traditional and emerging water and wastewater treatment technologies including pyrolysis units. Experience in the design and operation of engineering systems in the water/wastewater or aquaculture sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Organised and able to cope with multiple tasks and priorities - ability to work under pressure and deliver agreed objectives within strict deadlines. Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of equipment. Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement best practices for wastewater management. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to system performance and maintenance. Support environmental audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
