35 Hours Enfield Council are currently looking for an experienced Housing Solutions Officer to join their team on a contract basis to assist with households that are placed in temporary accommodation. Job Duties: Support households in temporary accommodation, addressing queries, complaints, housing advice, disrepair, and ASB, while helping them transition to private rented housing. Manage tenancy and property-related issues, including repairs, investigating complaints, and ensuring temporary accommodation meets required standards. Collaborate with partners to address tenancy issues and maintain effective communication with residents. Utilise strong written, verbal, and IT skills to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with housing law and homelessness legislation. The Candidate Will Have: The ability to find creative solutions to local housing problems while delivering excellent customer service. Experience in homelessness, housing management, or a strong understanding of housing law and homelessness legislation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, alongside excellent IT skills.
