Hybrid Working: 3 days onsite, 2 from home Location: City of London Contract Type: Permanent Job Summary

Responsibility for Documentary Credit process. This includes processing, checking and signing of Letters of Credit and their respective amendment/auxiliary tasks, in line with BACB guidelines, ensuring the bank’s position is protected at all times. Required to process and/or release other types of products and communications issued by the department. Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities

Act as a signatory for the Bank (at appropriate level) which would include processing, checking and signing Letters of Credit and their amendments Ensuring LOC's are processed in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with relevant ICC rules, all within agreed timescales to provide the highest quality services possible to customers Compliance with Bank requirements as well as liaising with other departments as and when required Acts as a source of reference to all clients and counter parties Ensures that customers receive an efficient and professional service Provides training and mentorship to new staff Ensuring any issues are resolved efficiently and professionally maintaining a high standard of customer service Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 2 -3 years experience in Letter of Credit process, within a similar team Exposure to issuance and settlement and relative ICC rules. Qualified CDCS preferred Demonstrates a level of understanding of the relevant aspects of foreign trade for the Bank. Strong communication skills with a high level of numeracy, literacy, accuracy and attention to detail
