Duties Oversee and being hands on with planned and reactive maintenance activities across several sites in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, to ensure timely project delivery. Oversee, manage and take a hands-on approach with building maintenance, restoration and renovation projects. Completing minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing and landscaping works. Liaising with and building effective working relationships with colleagues, sub-contractors, architects and tenants. Effectively coordinating, organising and managing sub-contractors and materials required. Ensure compliance of health and safety legislation, environment regulations and internal policies, conducting regular audit and risk assessments. Budget management, including planning and monitoring expenditure on maintenance and repairs, as well as procurement of all materials and sub-contractors' quotes. Being available to attend sites/properties at short-notice and outside of contracted working hours on the rare occasion it is necessitated by the business. Always maintain all sites and properties to a standard of excellence. Skills / Experience Proven experience within a hands-on estates and/or facilities management role, ideally with both domestic and commercial properties. Experienced and versatile multi-skilled trades person with a construction or property maintenance background. Proven experience managing and overseeing small building works and renovation projects. Being physically fit and mobile, with a desire to be hands on with all and any maintenance tasks is essential. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively. Strong communication, leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors and tenants. Excellent organisational and solution providing skills. Proficiency in IT systems and software. Ability to multi-task and delegate effectively. Comfortable working to tight deadlines and at times delivering results under pressure. Package: 45,000 - 55,000 salary depending upon experience KPI Bonuses for completed projects Fully expensed Mercedes X Class BUPA Gym Membership Life cover Interest free loans Hours:

40hrs per week - Flexible working hours which will vary to suit the needs of the business, role and successful candidate (e.g. whilst on site could be 7.30am - 4.30pm)
