We're hiring for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer at their site based in Hyde.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?
Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on machine tools, test equipment, and building services Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues Planning and undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance programmes Specifying and ordering maintenance equipment while controlling tools, stores, and critical spares Working from engineering drawings and documentation Supporting production by maintaining high levels of maintenance and efficiency Maintaining accurate records of all plant and equipment breakdowns
What do you need?
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organisation Electrical qualification to City & Guilds/NVQ 2330 Level 3 or industry equivalent Strong understanding of engineering functions and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office A degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering (preferred)
