We are seeking Manufacturing Engineers to join a company with a long history of excellence within their sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine manufacturing methods to enhance quality and efficiency. Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and production methods. Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. Define and maintain workflows for new and existing products. Manage change control processes and maintain BOMs and technical documents. Provide technical support to departments like production and quality. Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts to ensure smooth transitions. Train operators on new or updated processes. Qualifications and Skills: Essential: HNC/D or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3+ years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in processes like anodising, bonding, wet treatments, painting, assembly, or automated spray painting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem-solving tools (e.g., 3Cs, 8Ds). Desirable: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in aerospace or other regulated industries. Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and continuous improvement methods. Automation and robot programming experience. Salary and Benefits: Salary Band: £38,000 to £42,000 per annum. Working Hours: 37 hours per week (8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday; 8am to 1pm, Friday). Holidays: 244.2 hours per annum (25 days plus 8 statutory holidays). Sick Pay: 16 weeks of full pay after 6 months of employment. Pension: Minimum 3% employee contribution, 7% employer contribution.
