A progressive medium-sized Chartered Architectural Practice requires a talented career-focused Architectural Technologist who is keen to play a leading role in working on fast-paced projects within the Logistics sectors for blue-chip clients and developers. The practice was founded in Harrogate and in the last couple of years has successfully expanded into Leeds City centre. Their team members typically spend their time between each office and some choose Leeds or Harrogate as their primary base. This position can be based in Harrogate, Leeds, or a combination of both! This successful expansion into the city is due to continued growth fueled by an incredibly robust portfolio of work across multiple sectors including Care, Retail, Logistics, Residential, Healthcare, and large commercial units. Much of their repeat work is with well-known blue-chip clients, providing hands-on experience of working with and developing these relationships! The business has a grown-up trusting ethos at its core. Everyone is provided with the necessary tools and an inspiring, collaborative & flexible working environment to thrive professionally. Culturally, they are a great bunch of people where hard work is rewarded. The role will involve a lot of project meetings, so excellent client-facing skills and the ability to build relationships and articulate yourself are essential. A thorough understanding of client specifications and technical detailing, plus excellent Revit capabilities, is required. This is the major growing sector in the practice with an opportunity to lead multiple industrial projects and make a name for yourself. In addition, there is also the opportunity to work in some of their other core markets including Care, Residential, and Retail; however, the immediate demands and growth career-wise are within their logistics team. Essential criteria for the Architectural Technologist: Degree qualified Architectural Technologist with at least 5 years post-qualification experience. MCIAT or working towards Chartership. Excellent Revit capabilities. Client-facing / keen to engage with end users and build your own network. Career-focused, keen to climb the ladder and play a leading role in developing a growing team. Person of good character, keen to positively contribute to company culture. Why join this Practice? They take continual professional development extremely seriously. They believe they cannot put a price on having motivated and engaged employees who are vying for their next promotion. From Junior through to Associate level, every member of the team is on a career progression route with a defined path to get there. Alongside having a defined path of progression, the option of flexible hours and some remote working is available. You will be working for an experienced Senior management team who are proud of what they stand for; it's a great business to be a part of and a happy place to work! Architectural Technologist will receive a salary and benefits as follows: Salary: £37,500 - £42,500 26 days holiday Private medical insurance Pension Professional subscriptions Annual bonus A CV and ideally a sample portfolio of recent work examples are required to apply.
