Tradeline are actively recruiting for an M&E Quantity Surveyor who is able to provide commercial services covering packages on Commercial and Industrial projects.

Our client is a rapidly growing company working on large scale commercial and industrial electrical installation projects all over the country. They offer high-quality solutions with a focus on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems being known for their innovation, technical expertise, and customer-focused approach.

Due to an increase in demand and ongoing projects, they are seeking a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs, estimates and ensuring the financial success of various M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects. Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle. Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors. Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure project costs remain within budget. Provide regular financial progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For A minimum of 3 years' UK experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, specifically within the M&E sector. Able to manage their own workload and ideally projects. Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and cost control principles. Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
