Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support their efforts in driving new product introductions and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and making continuous improvements to the QMS, as well as auditing the system, product inspection, and sign-off. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, reporting, measuring performance, authorising the release of products to customers, and devising quality control documents. This position is influential in the future growth of our business and will require someone with a positive, tenacious attitude and a proactive approach to recognising and implementing necessary improvements.

Responsibilities for Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Support new product introductions and maintain the QMS Monitor, maintain, and make continuous improvements to the QMS Audit the QMS and product inspection and sign off Focus on continuous improvement and report and measure performance Authorise the release of products to customers Devise quality control documents Run non-conformance processes Have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Have a good understanding of root cause and corrective action processes and tools Conduct AS9100 audits Utilise Lean manufacturing and 5S experience

Qualifications and experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer

5+ years of experience in a quality engineering position Proven experience in maintaining and continuously improving QMS Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Familiarity with root cause and corrective action processes and tools AS9100 auditor certification Experience with Lean manufacturing and 5S Professional and positive tenacious attitude Proactive approach to recognising and implementing improvements

This position requires all candidates to be eligible to live and work in the UK and must be capable of achieving a valid UK Government security vetting clearance. Candidates must also hold a sole UK British passport. Hybrid working is not able to be offered for this role.
