Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of cost control, procurement, and contract administration for large commercial fit-out projects. Prepare and manage tender submissions, estimates, and cost plans. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements. Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Value and certify work completed on site, ensuring accurate reporting and financial forecasting. Assist in the preparation of final accounts and support project teams in resolving any disputes. Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution. Key Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the fit-out or construction industry, with a focus on drylining, partitions, and suspended ceilings. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC) and cost management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office. RICS membership (or working towards) is desirable, but not essential. Benefits:
