We are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator
to coordinate and deliver a range of health and wellbeing projects to support both our Community and wider club priorities. The role will have a primary focus on our weight management and older adult projects. You will be responsible for personally contributing to the practical delivery and supporting our Health and Wellbeing Manager in recruiting and enrolling participants onto these projects, ensuring a high standard is maintained by all colleagues delivering these sessions. Oversee programme delivery:
You will organise and contribute to the practical delivery of our projects and provide guidance and support to colleagues and volunteers delivering the programmes. Champion engagement:
You’ll support the Health and Wellbeing Manager in recruiting and enrolling participants, carrying out impact and evaluation processes, and strive to improve our programmes. Take a lead on coordination:
You will attentively maintain participants' records and data, contribute to reports for programme funders, and support the Community objectives by providing content for leads. Maintain compliance:
You’ll ensure all health and safety and safeguarding policies are in line with regulatory and statutory procedures and that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and followed under data protection legislation. What we are looking for
Proven experience in a community health and fitness setting:
Previous experience of delivering personal training and health coaching to older adults and those with long-term health conditions as well as knowledge of safeguarding. Credible expertise:
Up to date certifications in Fitness Training Qualifications such as Level 3 PT (Level 3 & 4 Exercise Referral and FA Level 1 Coaching Qualifications desirable). Clear communication skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all ages. Excellent attention to detail:
Exceptional administrative and organisational skills and the ability to operate at pace, without compromising on quality and accuracy. Confident IT skills:
Easily able to work with a range of Microsoft Office programmes. Passion for community:
